ORDERS, PAYMENTS, AND SHIPPING
IPS accepts payment by credit card, check and bank wire transfer. We confirm all payments before order processing and shipping.
It would be great if we could guarantee your orders would arrive at a date certain without you having to pay for expedited shipping. 90% of our orders are shipped by UPS or FEDEX and those companies meet there estimated delivery times about 85% of the time. If we tell you that your order will be shipped by UPS and standard shipping from LA to Las Vegas is 2 days then there is an 85% chance your order will be there in 2 days.
If you have a deadline and absolutely need the product in two days you are taking a big risk not sending it with one or two day expedited service. If you send it with overnight service you still have the chance to correct the order the next day if something happens. Please understand that once we ship your order, delivery, for the most part, is out of our control. Please note that we typically can not process expedited orders after 1:30 p.m. or on weekends. These orders will be processed the next business day.
Your order is treated as high priority by IPS. We endeavour to process and ship your order as soon as possible. The time we receive your order, your delivery location and product availability will determine how quickly you will receive your order. Once your payment is verified, we research our warehouses to determine which one will be able to get the product to you as soon as possible. If your order arrives in two or more delivers or from a warehosue that mey seem remote, understand that we have made a call to get you what we can as soon as possible.
IPS is committed to providing you the best delivered prices for supplies, printers and services. As the dollar amount of your order grows we reach a point where we can offset the cost of order processing and shipping. *Depending on the type of products ordered (ink is lighter than paper rolls) an order of about $500 will qualify for free shipping and handling. *Most printer orders ship free of charge except for a liftgate fee if a liftgate is needed. * Continental US.
In the worst case shipping will take 5 to 7 days. This will be in the case when we have to ship across the country by UPS ground or freight truck because a product is not available at one of our distribution locations nearer to you. About 60- 70% of our customer orders are delivered in 1 to 2 days by ground delivery if you live near a major metropolitan area.
The average delivery time for a large format printer is 4 to 5 days. These come to you by freight truck. We give you the company and tracking info and you arrange with the company for a range of delivery time. By the way- unless you have 3-4 strong people available you will need a liftgate to get the printer down off the truck- make sure you include this with your order. Trucking companies charge us $60 for this service and we do have to pass the cost on to you.
Most of the time your order will arrive in the time schedule you anticipate. We monitor your order and if we discover a problem we will contact you. Often times we provide you tracking information by email. If you have questions about shipping or tacking you are welcome to contact us.
Please note that there are shippign restrictioins on some items like fixative for protecting prints. These items are not eligible for expedited shipping and a bit more expensive to ship. Please plan your ordering accordingly.
